Frequently asked questions

Here we answer the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, call us or contact us on WhatsApp. We will be happy to guide you.

First visits and appointments

Yes. The initial consultation and clinical assessment are free. If diagnosis requires radiographs, a 3D CT scan or another additional test, we explain this beforehand and charge separately.

A discussion of your concerns and relevant history, a clinical examination and initial guidance. Where possible, we explain options and prepare a plan or quotation. Additional tests are not included in the free visit.

No. Tell us your concern: pain, missing teeth, bleeding, appearance or a check-up. We assess your situation and direct you to the appropriate area.

Bring recent radiographs or reports if available. It helps to know your usual medication, allergies and relevant medical history. Minors must attend with their legal representative.

Yes. Please give as much notice as possible so the time can be offered to another patient.

We try to provide priority care according to severity and availability. Call or contact us on WhatsApp before travelling so we can advise you.

Prices, quotations and financing

It depends on diagnosis, complexity, materials and stages. After assessment, you receive a personalised quotation before treatment starts.

Yes. We explain alternatives, stages and costs. Any unexpected need arising during treatment is discussed before proceeding whenever the clinical situation allows.

The clinic offers financing options subject to conditions and approval. Find further information through this link.

If the clinic does not work directly with your insurer, we can explain which documents we can provide for you to enquire about reimbursement.

Card, cash, bank transfer or financing.

Fear, pain and sedation

Local anaesthesia allows most procedures to be performed without pain during treatment. Some cause discomfort afterwards; we explain what to expect and how to manage it. Responses vary between people.

Tell us when booking. We can proceed at your pace, explain each step, agree a pause signal and adapt sessions. Conscious sedation may also be considered in selected cases.

Yes, for selected patients and procedures. Prior assessment is required; a specific protocol includes monitoring and the appropriately qualified professional.

Yes, if you wish for a routine appointment. With sedation, a responsible adult is normally required to accompany you both ways, following the team’s instructions.

You receive personalised fasting, medication, accompaniment and aftercare instructions. Do not drive, operate machinery or make important decisions until the team confirms it is safe.

Implants and prostheses

Immediate loading is possible in selected cases. Bone, implant stability, bite, habits and general health must first be assessed. Teeth fitted that day are usually temporary.

Not always. General health, oral condition, available bone, smoking, hygiene and other factors matter. If implants are not the best option, we explain alternatives.

It varies with implant number, regeneration needs and integration time. A straightforward case may take several months; complex rehabilitation may need more stages.

The case is assessed using indicated tests. Bone regeneration is possible for some people; for others, a different option is preferable.

Like teeth, they need brushing, interdental cleaning and regular checks. Smoking, plaque and lack of maintenance increase complication risk.

Orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry

Yes, for many adults when diagnosis confirms suitability. Cases differ, and another technique sometimes offers greater control.

There is no fixed limit. Tooth, gum and bone health are key. Adults may need periodontal or other problems treated first.

It depends on bite, movements, technique and patient cooperation. Assessment allows an individual estimate and explanation of retention.

It depends on material and the teeth’s original position, colour and shape. Some cases allow minimal preparation; others need more space. A conservative approach is prioritised where appropriate.

Duration varies. Colour may last for years, but changes with diet, smoking, hygiene and ageing. Supervised top-ups may be needed.

Prevention and children

Frequency reflects risk. Some people attend yearly; those with frequent decay, periodontal disease, implants or other factors need closer checks.

There is no universal interval. It depends on calculus, gums, hygiene and history. Routine cleaning does not replace periodontal treatment.

An initial assessment is recommended when the first tooth appears or, as a guide, during the first year. Early visits help prevent decay and create positive experiences.

Yes. We adapt language and pace to age, begin with simple goals where possible and avoid forcing non-urgent procedures. Family cooperation is important.

No. They depend on age, symptoms, risk, history and time since previous images. If needed, the reason and cost are explained.

Emergencies

Severe pain, swelling, trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, broken or displaced teeth and certain post-treatment complications. Contact the clinic to assess priority.

Seek care promptly. Do not puncture it or take leftover antibiotics. Treatment usually needs to address the cause; antibiotics are indicated only in certain situations.

Hold it by the crown, not the root; gently rinse without scrubbing if dirty. Reinsert it if possible; otherwise, keep it in milk or inside the mouth only without swallowing risk. Seek care immediately. Do not replant a baby tooth.

Only if prescribed by a professional after assessment. Antibiotics may not resolve the cause, and inappropriate use can cause adverse effects and resistance.

Call 112 or go to emergency care for difficulty breathing or swallowing, rapidly progressing swelling, uncontrolled heavy bleeding, major trauma or significant deterioration in general condition.
